The Senior Advisory Group (SAG) to NAIP

 

 

1) The Rationale

Prestigious Designation within the Internationally Recognised Governing Body for the Payroll Profession of India– The National Academy of Indian Payroll. Participation will be for the eminent Members of the Profession and Public Office and will be by Invitation Only.

2) Senior Advisory Group Member(s) will:


* Meet fellow Group Members to discuss key issues and subjects of interest to the Payroll Profession raised by the membership of NAIP and indeed by the Senior Advisory Group itself with a view of providing clarity and guidance to not only the employer and employee but practitioners within the Profession and ultimately being part of the formulation of Policy and Legislation on both a State and National Level.

* Speak at Key NAIP events to both Payroll / HR Practitioners within India and International Forums.

* Enter into dialogue on behalf of the Country’s Professional Body with Government Representatives to discuss and communicate the needs and requirements of the Payroll Profession and the impact of Government Legislation.

* Be involved in the Directing on behalf of NAIP of internet forums involving NAIP Members whom are Payroll Practitioners within India.

3) The Benefits to the Senior Advisory Group Member(s) will include:

* The First of its Kind Senior Professional Organisation with International Recognition

* Provides significant kudos and Exposure to the selected Group Members.

* Representing NAIP within the Global Payroll Profession, speaking at the various forums including the First Ever International Payroll Conference to be held at Mumbai and Bangalore in November 2010.

* Will receive the Exclusive Honorary Designation of being a Fellow of NAIP, allowing you to use “FNAIP” as well as the title “Senior Advisory Group Member”- India.

* As a Recognised Authority providing the Opportunity to put forward your advice and experience in Promoting Best Practice and Professionalism throughout India.

* Regional and National Forums involving the Practitioners and Government Representatives allowing the opportunity to shape both State and Country wide Policy with the Payroll and Labour Welfare Legislation.

4) Minimum Requirements of Candidate(s) for Consideration to the Special Advisory Group.

Membership to the Group will be by Invitation from NAIP, candidates can make their own application for nomination or application of nomination can be made by a third party to NAIP Chairman.

* Served or Having Served in Public Office-
Is currently holding a Senior Designation in Public Office in relation to Fiscal,Labour, Welfare, Unions or in Central or State Government.

                                  OR
If retired it is a condition that the above Office would have been in the last 7 years.

* In Current Employment
Must be in a Senior Position within their Organisation and held such positions for at least 10 years. The Organisation must have a minimum workforce of 4,000 personal.
                                  OR
If retired it is a condition that the Post at a Senior Level must have been in last 5 years and the candidate was recognised for Outstanding Contribution whilst in Post.

* Entrepreneur/ Business Owner
The Candidate’s workforce must exceed 4,000 and is a Pan India Organisation and recognised for outstanding contribution in its industry and/or to India’s economic development.
